KD prefers to sing in his native language, Haryanvi, as well as Hindi, rather than English. KD’S Haryanvi-language album Desi Villager was released on 21 August 2011. The track “Paiya Pittal” from the album, featuring singer Mannu Diwana, topped in Northen India.

KD has performed at many college festivals including the Ansal Institute of Technology, and the Ramjas College, located in Delhi. He learned music from Kokila Studio, located in Rohtak.
